I'm Chaz Bass, an Automotive Technology graduate, ASE Certified technician, and lifelong car enthusiast with more than 20 years of hands-on experience working on everything from daily drivers to weekend project cars.
My passion for cars began growing up in the small town of Oliver, Georgia. Nearly every Sunday, local car enthusiasts would gather to show off their hot rods, classic cruisers, and latest projects. What stood out most wasn't just the cars themselves, it was the people. Friends, neighbors, and complete strangers came together to share knowledge, lend a hand, and help each other bring their automotive visions to life. Whether someone needed advice, a spare part, or an extra set of hands, there was always someone willing to help.
That spirit of community is the foundation of CoBay Auto. I started this business to bring back the sense of connection, learning, and mutual support that I experienced growing up.
